MiM2016 Orientation & Foundations Week
ORIENTATION : 1st - 2nd September

Day 1: Thursday 1st September 2016
Day 1 will provide you with a Welcome to London Business School and will take place on campus.
The focuswill be on the programme, our expectations and your MiM journey.
Sessions will take place in smaller groups, to foster discussions and to enable you to get to know
each other.

Location: London Business School Campus

Arrival Time: Session will take place in the morning and in the afternoon. You will each be sent an email in August to confirm your assigned group and session start time.

Day 2: Friday 2nd September 2016
Day 2 takes place at East Wintergarden a beautiful venue nestled among the business district of south east London; home to the world or European headquarters of numerous major banks, professional services firms and media organisations. This architecturally-striking domed glass hall sits amongst the iconic towers of Canary Wharf and enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding skyline.
This day will include welcomes by the Dean, as well presentations by members of the MiM Programme Team, faculty and the wider community, including our Keynote Speaker. The day will also provide you with dynamic ways and opportunities for you to get to know each other.

FOUNDATIONS WEEK & Away Day : 5th -9th September
This week is the kick-starter to your Personal Development Programme. IT is jam packed and full of opportunities to begin building your skills and getting to know your classmates. There will be courses on presentation skills, Excel fundamentals, and networking. We also have an exciting team building day lined up.
Useful Information:
There will be a cloakroom available; however it is advisable that you do not bring valuable items with you.

Group Allocations during Orientations & Foundations Week
Please note that during Orientation and Foundations week you will be placed in random groups for the majority of sessions, to enable you to get to know as many of your peers as possible and you will also be notified of this on Tuesday 30th August.

Away Day (6th & 7th September) - Action Required
​
During foundations week we will be heading off campus for the MiM Away Day at Gilwell Park. The day will inclue exhilarating activities to give you team building expereince and also work on your leadership skills. Here is where you will have the first opportunity to work with your Term 1 study groups.

Student Absences & Late Arrivals during Foundations
