Masters in Management 2017

The MiM elective portfolio is drawn from the School's main elective portfolio and will provide you with an exciting opportunity to customise your degree and build the foundations of your future career. 

 

The electives are unique in that you will have the opportunity to engage with students from across all the degree programmes in the classroom.

 

MiM Only Electives

In addition to the elective portfolio, there are two 'MiM Only electives':

•        Corporate Finance & Capital Markets

•        Entrepreneurial Management

 

It is important to note that for those interested in taking Finance electives, the MiM Corporate Finance

& Capital Markets elective is one of the pre-requisites for Finance electives (unless you obtain a Waiver,

via the Finance Subject Area through the application process.)

 

Elective Requirement

Students will be required to take and pass 2 electives.

 

Elective Scheduling

Electives run throughout the academic year and in parallel with Core Courses.

Your electives will run from December through to July and will also take place during the Winter, Spring and Summer Break Weeks; therefore it is important that this is taken into account when scheduling your vacations etc. to ensure that they do not conflict with your electives.

Elective Formats

The formats of electives differ, ranging from regular, modular and block week formats. You will however receive further details at the start of your programme.

 

Elective Selection

Students from all programmes will bid for the broad range of electives and access to the first-choice electives cannot be guaranteed to students.
